Dingmans Ferry is an unincorporated town, in Delaware Township, Pike County, Pennsylvania.
It was originally sited on the Delaware River in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area,
but was moved further up the mountain when the Park Service acquired the land for the creation
of the Tocks Island Dam. Nearby attractions include Factory Falls, Fulmer Falls, and Deer Leap Falls in
Childs Recreation Area and Silverthread Falls and Dingmans Falls, all on Dingmans Creek.

Dingmans Ferry Bridge

When Andrew Dingman came over from
New York State in 1735, he established a ferry
across the Delaware River. Since that time
until this day, there always has been either a
ferry or a bridge to cross the river at this site.
